Following the heart and passion of our founder, Beth McKnight, Delta Cotton Belles, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has worked to serve the needs in our communities from providing breast health education to the provision of services and support programs for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.
As Delta Cotton Belles enters its 15th anniversary of caring and supporting women throughout the Mississippi Delta, our goals and services have grown and expanded with each passing year. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors has adhered to a philosophy of flexibility and innovation to allow for new services and programs, always in response to the unmet needs of women and breast cancer patients within our target community.
With growing needs surrounding the Delta Cotton Belles’ mission, the organization now proudly serves individuals who are working and are uninsured or under-insured in eleven (11) counties throughout the Mississippi and Arkansas Delta including Washington, Bolivar, Humphreys, Grenada, Carroll, Issaquena, Sharkey, Sunflower, Leflore and Coahoma counties in Mississippi and Chicot County in Arkansas.
The support of our Delta community through individual and corporate donations, as well as support from partner non-profit organizations through grant opportunities, has allowed us to continue to expand our services to best meet the needs of the men and women of our community who need the services of Delta Cotton Belles.
